About the Film
Some relationships never become the past.
Laura and Callum arrive on different days to participate in a filmed interview project about relationships that never completely ended. Neither knows the other has taken part. As carefully prepared questions move deeper into memory, regret and the lives they built afterward, two separate testimonies begin to reveal the same unfinished love.
Told almost entirely through intimate interviews, Room Tone is a restrained drama about silence, timing and the difference between moving forward and truly letting go.

Creative Approach
A room built around what cannot be said directly.
The visual language is deliberately spare: one chair, one camera, a controlled pool of light and the low electrical hum beneath apparent silence. The form keeps attention on performance, pauses and the small physical choices that reveal what the characters are still trying to conceal.
